Terms of Service
Last updated: January 1, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a request through the Mobile Home Gone website or by contacting us about our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, leads, and property owners who engage with Mobile Home Gone.
2. Service Description
Mobile Home Gone connects property owners with licensed demolition and removal contractors who may remove qualifying mobile homes at no charge to the property owner. Our service is funded through the salvage value recovered from the materials of removed structures. We do not guarantee removal services to every applicant. Acceptance into our program is subject to property qualification, site access, logistics, and availability in your area.
3. Property Owner Responsibilities
By submitting a request, you represent that you are the legal owner of the property or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf, you have the right to authorize removal of the structure, the property has no liens, disputes, or encumbrances that would prevent legal removal (or you will disclose these before work begins), and you will cooperate with our team to provide accurate information about the property, title, and access conditions.
4. No Guarantee of Free Removal
Not all properties qualify for free removal. Qualification depends on the salvage value of the structure, site accessibility, local permit requirements, regional contractor availability, and other operational factors. We will notify you if your property does not qualify. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
5. Permits and Legal Compliance
Mobile home demolition typically requires one or more local government permits. We assist with permit coordination as part of our process. However, you acknowledge that permitting timelines are controlled by local authorities and may extend the overall project schedule. You agree to cooperate fully with permit requirements applicable to your property.
6. Site Access and Safety
You agree to provide our team and designated contractors safe, legal access to the property for inspection, permitting, and removal activities. You are responsible for disclosing any known hazardous conditions (asbestos, lead paint, underground tanks, utilities, etc.) prior to work beginning. Failure to disclose known hazards may result in project suspension and potential liability.
7. No Warranty
Our services are provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the timeliness of removal, the condition of the property after removal, or any specific outcome. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, permit agencies, title complications, or other circumstances beyond our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mobile Home Gone and its affiliates, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us (which in most cases is zero).
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the property is located, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that state.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
